Sean Collier
Sean Collier has been an Of Counsel attorney with The Basil Law Group since 2019, while also practicing within his own firm based in Central New Jersey. He received his bachelor’s degree cum laude from Boston College and earned his law degree from Boston College Law School.
Mr. Collier focuses his practice primarily in business litigation, real estate transactions, and environmental regulation and litigation. Many of his clients are small businesses and entrepreneurs facing disputes between companies or among business partners, and other legal issues that often come with owning a company. He also has experience in supporting property owners and purchasers facing environmental concerns on their land.
Mr. Collier places importance on being courteous and approachable, because the law is supposed to serve the people — not the other way around. His legal experience allows him to provide his clients with the assurance that their legal issues are handled effectively and efficiently, allowing them to focus on running their businesses.
Mr. Collier practices in New York and New Jersey and their state and federal courts, including courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, as well as the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Additionally, he serves as a fellow with Advocati Christi in the Diocese of Paterson, leads a study group for fathers, and teaches catechism at his parish. He lives near his hometown in New Jersey with his wife of ten years and four children.
